Uses

Nitrotan is a highly effective germicide, formulated expressly for minor wounds and burns.  Its four-way action reduces pain, checks capillary bleeding, promotes healing, and aids in the prevention of infection.

Warnings

For external use only.FLAMMABLE.  Do not spray while smoking or near fire.  Contents under pressure.  Do not puncture or incinerate container or place where temperature exceeds 120 F.  Use only as directed.  Intentional misuse by concentrating and inhaling the contents can be harmful or fatal.  In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.  If irritation occurs or if there is no improvement within 2 weeks, discontinue use and consult a doctor.  Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. 

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION SECTION

Directions

Cleanse wound with Cinder Suds® soap.  Saturate sterile dressing with Nitrotan.  Leave in place at least five minutes; add Nitrotan® to keep dressing wet.  Remove dressing, allow to dry, and apply antiseptic dressing.  Renew at least once daily.
