Uses

Temporarily relieves sore throat and cough occurring with a cold


WARNINGS SECTION

Warnings

Sore throat warning: If sore throat is severe, persists for more than 2 days, is accompanied or followed by fever, headache, rash, nausea, or vomiting, consult a doctor right away


Ask a doctor before use if you have

  • a cough acccompanied by excessive phlegm (mucus)
  • a persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, or emphysema

Stop use and ask a doctor if:

These could be signs of a serious condition

  • sore mouth does improve in 7 days
  • irritation, pain or redness persists or worsens
  • cough persists for more than 1 week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache

If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use.

Directions

Do not take more than directed

Adults and children 12 years of age and over: 

Children under 12 years of age: ask a doctor

  • allow one lozenge to dissolve slowly in mouth
  • may be repeated every 2 hours as needed or as directed by a doctor
